Eylea Drug Interactions

Eylea™ (aflibercept) is unlikely to interact with most other drugs. This is probably because Eylea is injected directly into the eye and only a small amount reaches the bloodstream. Because most of the body is exposed to very little Eylea, drug interactions are not likely to occur. However, it is important to understand that this drug has not been thoroughly studied in combination with other medications, so it is possible that there are interactions that are currently unknown.

Talk with your pharmacist or healthcare provider on a regular basis about specific drug interactions with Eylea that may apply to you. Make sure each of your healthcare providers has a complete and current list of all the medications and supplements you are taking, even the ones that do not seem important enough to mention.
