Who Should Not Take Lucentis?

You should not take Lucentis if you:
 
  • Are allergic to Lucentis, ranibizumab, or any inactive components used to make the medication. Your healthcare provider or pharmacist has a list of the inactive ingredients.
     
  • Have an infection in your eyes or near your eyes.
