Muscle weakness, easy bruising or bleeding, and upset stomach are some of the potential side effects that may occur with the use of PreserVision. Side effects of PreserVision are generally minor and, in most cases, either don't require medical attention or can be treated easily. However, if you develop any problems while taking the vitamin and mineral supplement, be sure to notify your healthcare provider.

An Introduction to PreserVision Side Effects

As with any medicine, side effects are possible with Ocuvite® PreserVision®; however, not everyone who takes the medication will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider.

Possible Side Effects of PreserVision

PreserVision has been studied thoroughly in a large clinical trial (the Age-Related Eye Disease Study). In this study, the side effects of PreserVision were compared to side effects reported in a group of people not taking the medication. This way, it was possible to see what side effects occur, how often they appeared, and how they compared to the group not taking the medicine.
In these studies, people taking PreserVision were more likely to have yellow skin or anemia and were more likely to be hospitalized for infections or urinary problems (such as urinary tract infections or prostate problems). Otherwise, side effects appeared to be similar between the group that took PreserVision and the group that did not.
